Yes, it is a Steve Edwards hardtop, in two sections, which both go in the boot on a later car, and painted to match the car.



So on a nice summer’s day you get a clean line at the back, no pram hood

I've had 3 x Chimaeras and none of them have had a leak through the roof. The back window, yes, when the stitching was failing, and round the edges when the velcro section becomes detached by the door glass but never from the top or targa section.

The half cover is on because I get wet legs after rain without it. Rain water gets in somewhere around the screen or rear of bonnet area, and collects above my shins. First corner each way I get drowned. With the cover on I don’t.

How are your 7" fronts compared to originals?

Just changed my rear lights to Lexus style units. I have both plain which I have fitted and a smoked set. Kept the original units just in case.

Smoked lens which I think looks smart & elegant with this paintwork.
Clear versions probably work better on very light colours.
Personally not keen on the Halfords aftermarket look or the SE spotty bottom

Dots look good other than the single reverse one side and fog the other. I’m sure hella do the reverse light with a circular reflector around it, or fit two tvr reverse with a low mounted fog a bit like the f1 cars.

If I’m honest I’m not keen on the chrome rears, the regular mk3 cavalier rears with orange indicator part looks better on the lighter coloured Griffs.
