Fitted a new fuel pump over the weekend and thought I would test it out this evening. Got to the fuel station put £30 of super in and car started but died instantly. Wouldn't restart tried to hear if the pump was working but to noisy as near a busy main road. Pulled out the relays and it was clicking away and could now hear ithe pump still not starting but was fireing a bit. Left it for a few minutes and she fired up and seemed fine a bit of kangarooing as I put my foot down which cleared fairly quickly. Now starts every time. Any ideas? Possible lazy relay?

What ecu are you running with that Supercharger Chris ? What mapping has been done post supercharger.

Just thinking possibly the hot start mixture might not be spot on. How are the hot starts usually.

The car is running the standard 14cux, Bosch MAF, green giant Bosch injectors with a Mark Adams chip. I am just waiting for Mark to send me a mapped ignition kit so I can get it fitted and then get the car down to him for setting up properly.
The car has always started straight away hot or cold.
The old fuel pump was working but I kept getting a low fuel pressure fault on Rovergauge so it may have been the relay rather than the pump causing this??
I did also replace the air flow meter not sure if that could be connected only reason is I had a spare new one and wanted to sure everything was fine. The car goes extremely well but is lacking a bit mainly at low and mid range but I think that is due to having to retard the ignition to 6 deg idle to prevent detonation at higher revs hence the mapped ignition ordered.

Ah ok, probably not then.

Possibly relays then as you suspect.

Not sure how the ECU can report low fuel pressure when there is no fuel pressure sensor.
Anybody Know?

I don't know but I also had lambda left and right fault code at the same time so maybe it's something to do with them.
