Hi all,

Am thinking of tidying up the car a bit and painting the calipers. They are the original calipers on my '98 500. The car is Imperial Blue with after market SP12-like wheels. The calipers at the moment are the original silver.

Anyone have ideas/opinions about painting calipers, only to smarten up the car? Is it too garish and boy-racer to go for Yellow. What about blue or red? Or leave them alone?

If anyone has pics I'd love to see them.

Also, anyone know where I can get the 'white/clear' front indicators from? I have got the side repeaters from Racetech, but can't seem to find the front ones anywhere.

Cheers.

You could colour match with the body. Clear lenses from Land Rover spare though they are side lights.

Ian,
The fronts are military land rover. You'll need the silver vision bulbs too.

Not a TVR and may not stand the heat but worth a try.

I found a tin of cellulose touch up paint, remember them.....small metal tin with brush attached to the screw off cap. No undercoat, couple of coats worked a treat, not shown any signs of comming off after a couple of years.
