Surely they knew what car they were wrapping prior to starting. I'd be pissed.
Yes...Yes indeed I am, Milky.!!

Put your £1K towards a paint job and when you get your £3K back in the pot have the car painted.

I'm going to negotiate a new price, and suck it up, until next spring, I think.!!

The wrappers have just encountered a problem...The front is so tightly radiused, that it is nigh impossible to wrap the front in one piece. I have to accept that there will be two joins, by the headlights...I am NOT happy...
Is it because they're wrapping the Griff rear to front? The reason I ask is that I've got clear armourfend over the front of mine & it's 1 piece.

Ahh...I see the point that you're making; the problem lies in the inner radius, which creases beyond workability...As you wrap the front, there is so much material left at the bonnet gap, it becomes impossible to smooth it out, without cutting

Slightly off-topic (sorry) but can I ask who did your armourfend and if you're happy with it?

I did recommend avoiding vinyl wrap!! I would get your money back and go for a plastidip/fulldip..

The overall effect is absolutely Stunning! I negotiated a cheaper price, and all it means is that I will have the car painted sooner, rather than later.

Apparently, they have another Griff booked in...If you're reading this, ask about any joins.!!

Could you post some pictures of the Griff all wrapped?
I am interested in getting this done too and a little worried about whether it is the best route to go down.
Thanks.

I wouldn't wrap a car that had good paintwork. I would 'plastidip' instead.

Photos of the 'mid wrap' looked ace.

I don't have it back yet! Click onto the Auto wrap link on my earlier post, on page 1, and click 'Portfolio'...it's on there

Looks great. And for the money it's well worth it. Where are the joins - I'm guessing inboard of the headlights somewhere - looks fine in the pic, maybe not 110% perfect up close, but then you haven't seen the state of my paintwork.

It looks awesome close up, Andy...It's only the joins that bother me, and under close scrutiny, there are some minor flaws...But it sure 'pops' in the sunlight.!!

I'm sure that it will look great!

In any case, by the time you get the first unwanted stone chip, you'll soon forget about any joins smile
