diff swap question

despite having my GKN diff rebuilt last winter general abuse means it now clocks and has a lot of slack. a rebuild is £500 but I can get a brand new BTR with a lower ration at 3.45 for £900. That's great because i want the lower ratio for sprinting anyway. What do I need - I assume different brackets and where do I get them form. is there any welding needed in which case I will stick with the GKN Are there any other problems like prop or driver shafts that will not fit?
