Rear anti roll bar bushes.
Discussion
Is there any reason why the arb bushes need to be flexible ?
The original arrangement held the bar in a fairly worn out floppy way so I replaced them with nice new poly bushes but I think really they are gripping the bar too tightly and adding a fair bit of resistance to the suspension travel. Does the action actually need a flexible bush or could it simply be a bearing ? Perhaps a suitably sized bit of PEEK or Acetol that holds the bar in place but allows it to rotate without hindrance.

personally I can't see a couple of little Poly bushes gripping a steel bar enough to make any noticeable difference (the movement is nominal, the forces enormous) but if you are concerned why not get a good dollop of Silicone grease in there?Edited by phillpot on Friday 14th October 19:25
