BREMEBO BRAKES

Overkill Rigga, I'll remove mine at some point.
I don't have brake judder, but I did with two shims fitted to one side only.
I very rarely get squeal, usually when the brakes are hot and I'm going very slowly, but it's few and far between.
Maybe some harmonics going on with the shims fitted, as there is less meat of the caliper boss against the mounting bracket, that might explain the judder? I don't have brake judder, but I did with two shims fitted to one side only.

Exactly, the judder was on track going from about 125 down to 50mph sharply and I'd not put many miles on the brakes at that time. I removed the twin shims that were fitted to the one side and the judder ceased.
After some serious miles since they have bedded in very evenly and the pads are wearing nicely.
I have been running this setup for over 3 years, but as I have 16" Estorils, I have to use spacers to clear the calipers.
Question - I am just about to buy some bell and rotor discs from Reyland, as the company turns their own bells, I have asked if they can add 10mm to the bell part of the assembly so that I can eliminate the spacers, anyone got any reason why it could be a bad idea?

As Disco posted over the fence, can't see any issue's, and it perfectly solves the use of spacers (which although serve a purpose, I dislike them)
Spacers , washers whatever you like to call them, will always add compound error, even if they are a ground close tolerance finish, which l doubt. Ditch the washers sorry spacers as mentioned and get your bespoke bells machined, happy days. That's the plan, I wanted to keep the standard 16" Estorils, but to do that needed 12mm hubcentric spacers for the wheels to clear the caliper as shown in the pic below.
For the rears I am fitting the reyland 300mm conversion with the standard calipers, the only reason for the spacers on the rears was to balance it all up
