Thanks for the welcome.

Yes - I think the car was previously owned by Dean(as I found out a very old Ad when the car was for sale a few owners ago)and saw some posts from him.

I'm based near Rugby so will try to pop over to Meriden to a club night and say hello.

I'll do some more searching on the bits I'm looking to improve and will start a separate post to see what Pre cat Y pieces and manifolds people are running and recommend.

Cheers

The Dog was a major factor in ending up with a Griff.

I was very keen to find a convertible sportscar we could all fit in and there are very few fun convertibles that fit the bill with space for a woofer. I think it's going to suit us very well! So far the dogs been on two trips to the wife's zero but we'll soon address that as the weather picks up.

Excellent - loving the doggles!
How long did it take to get your four legged friend to accept wearing them?

He don't mind wearing them, very accommodating.
He was on the back shelf for the journey.

Thanks Dean - yes - enjoying the car very much and really looking forward to the weather picking up.

Gradually doing a few jobs as I go - I can't decide if the exhaust has been quietened or not - I'll do some comparing when I get to a few meets this summer. There's weld on the silencer and receipts in the fold for making it noisier and then the next owner paid to put it back how it was!
