Looking at buying a permabag storage system for my Griff for winter storage.
Looking on Permabag website the option for the Griff (Size PL £748) is different to the one for the Chim (Size PM £658)

Was a bit suprized that the Griff would be more expensive than the Chim as i thought the Chim was a bigger car but i have done a bit of looking around and it appears that the Griff is 78mm wider than the Chim 1943mm v 1865mm, question is this down to how far the wing mirrors stick out or is the bidy actually 78mm wider?

Not a straightforward dimension to measure. I had a go at what looked like the widest point, the body at the B posts.
It measured 1730mm. This does not include any allowance for the mirrors.

The Permabag is an excellent choice, a bit pricey now, but I have kept a TR3A in one( within a damp barn) over the winter months for 7 years and it comes out in the Spring exactly as it entered in November looking pristine. No electrical supply to worry about and those tent things that blow in air would worry me up here with the air on the Pennines being so damp.
