Sure. I cast exhaust manifolds similar to the janspeed items but with ports more akin to later engines. Basically a superior product. The owner would need a mappable ecu and a few other bits to rock and roll but he'd need those if he was tuning a conventional rv8. Boost always offers a huge torque increase though. I've done rotrex conversions and they work well but can only flow so much air from a limited product line that's flipping expensive. Turbo's are more available new or second hand. It's really a no brainer.

That's interesting. I dropped any turbo thoughts because of the manifold issues. The cost of having the manifolds made meant the Rotrex system was cheaper and it would give the performance that I want (350bhp x 350ftlbs) without having to do anything too clever. It also spools up in the quite small RPM window that auto Rangies live in. For ECU I'm just using the OMEX piggyback to take control of the spark etc.

If you need more info then give me a shout. You'll usually find them on ebay as a TT package but I can do a single manifold for a single turbo application :-)

Thanks. Are you aware of any competent RR installs?

Sorry, I don't know any Range Rovers owners. There probably aren't any new TT installs. I'll have to advertise in the RR section of ebay :-)

Ideally.

4.6 engine for the additional torque.
4.0 pistons for higher comp.
Typhoon cam
72mm plenum
Decent induction
A pair of 421 manifolds and a decaf.

Give you 275bhp and close to 300 torque.

Add some nice heads and you'll see 300bhp.

Maybe a diy MS to run it all but not essential.
Interesting this mix!!! what means "Decent induction"? sorry but i do not speak very well english

You'll fit in fine then. wink

Induction as in the air feed to the top of the engine. You can usually improve the standard set up on a TVR quite well for not a lot of expenditure and I'm guessing that there is little point in fitting a 4.6 to that spec and then not ensuring it gets enough air to work.

Have you tried these guys:

I have no experience of them personally but I think I will be using them on my rebuild as they seem to know what they are talking about. Pete
