17" wheels & tyres

Going to fit 17" rims (got some nice image split rims) was thinking of 215/40R17 & 245/40R17 Yokohama AD08-R
Has anybody got any experience of these tyres, the other option is Toyo R1R's but they don't do the correct profiles, options are 225/45R17 245/45R17.... not sure if larger profile would be a good thing (more compliance) or a bad thing (too big an overall diameter???
Or any other recommendations?
