For 10 years I have thought about changing amber to clear on my Olympic Blue 500 and now I'm having a respray it seems an ideal time, however now the time has come I'm wondering whether perhaps the traditional amber is more befitting of a 22 year old car? scratchchin

Option 3 isn't really an option now I have seen the Hella units fitted to later cars.

They're definitely getting old enough that more people are thinking hard about any modifications, but providing it's reversible then do what you like regardless

Stick the orange ones somewhere safe and you can always put them back on in the future

Depends on the colour of the car.

Red, yellow or orange then stick with amber.

Almost all other colours, clear or smoked.

All imho of course. I won't shoot anyone for holding a different opinion.

As above really.
Or if you really wanted, the white version can be dusted with the new body colour so it really blends in. Just an idea though smile

I have clear plastic side, but front are clear glass wine tumblers with LED s. Cost a few quid a pair and you could remove the standard inerrds slide them in and fit the orange silver bulbs.

A nice splash of colour adds to a vehicle - Use amber ones!

I am thinking like that but they are readily if not necessarily easily reversible. Keeping my Wedgewood hide carpet piping is causing me more stress for the sake of originality but £850 for a single hide in that colour is a bit much to bear!

If you store the original bits and bobs, it's the next owner if you ever sell that decides to re-fit. As a considerate owner you keep those factory fit parts smile

easily reversible (and cheaply)

another Olympic blue here and prefer orange.

Blue and orange are complimentary colours and good for my ego

Looking lovely but I might be slightly biased wink It appears that clear are almost unobtainable at sensible prices anyway and all this love for amber is making me reconsider.
