What size is the lamba sensor
Discussion
Don't know what size is fitted on yours, but on mine the lambdas have a 17mm hex body in a 26mm bore. You can get a 17mm sloted lambda sensor socket, but you'll probably need to trim the outside down to fit in the bore. Alternatively just use a 17mm box spanner, take the plug off and shove the leads down the middle. Takes an extra couple of minutes but it's not something you need to do very often.

If you're going to feed the wires through the socket (rather than cut a slot up the side) you need to take the plug off the end. This takes thirty seconds with a small screwdriver to release the latches inside the plug, leaving the three wires with a crimed terminal on the end, and the small rubber seal. I have no problem pushing these through the middle of a 1/2" drive socket, and they drop straight through the box spanner. Taking the plug off doesn't involve cutting the wires.
