I was talking to the owner at the Growl.

Yes, it was at the Growl - Gary came down on the Sunday travelling over 800 miles in total to do so. Shame it's for sale.
Think you'll find the colour is raspberry pearl.

Yes its still about, sitting in the garage right now. Ive put it up for sale because I have hardly driven it all summer - well apart from my roadtrip to the growl, which was well worth it !! The colour is definately raspberry pearl, and not pink!!

In my 20's I couldn't bothered with Lovejoy when it was first on in the late 80/90's but now as a 50 yr old I love it.

Seeing that Lovejoy Griff and the sound makes me want another.

Was discussed on here last year (or year before) and the owner was debating selling it, I tried to enquire what he wanted for it but he never came back so presume he decided to rebuild rather than sell....

Good morning all! Well I still have L118 BFV. Currently tucked away still waiting for me to get round to making it roadworthy!! Mike, apologies, it was my brothers number I gave on the advert and he isn't the greatest at letting me know what's happening. When it was up for sale I received what I thought were surprisingly low offers and so decided to hang on to it. May take some time though as with 1.5 kids and a gable end requiring a rebuild money is currently channelled elsewhere!

Hi there, I've just seen the Lovejoy episode here in NZ on a tv channel playing repeats. I was channel surfing and caught sight of the TVR, so stopped surfing and heard the rumble as it drove down a country lane - marvellous! The looks and sound of the Griffith piqued my interest so I Googled the plate, discovered the PistonHeads website in the search results... and so I've joined up as a new member. So 'hello' from me.
Anyway, is the car back on the road now?

Hi all, I still have the car and unfortunately it's still off the road. Looking at getting it up and running over Christmas then running it for a few months before probably selling it. I just don't get the time to use it and as my latest daily is a forester sti that seems to satisfy my need for speed!!

Just my opinion, but a gable end wont make you smile as much... silly
