My wiper delay switch doesnt seem to make any difference to the length of delay when wipers are on intermittent.

Could it be the Wash/wipe delay unit in the fuse/relay board? (The wipers work and so does the wash/wipe). Any ideas what could be wrong/how to troubleshoot?

Its not particulalry important but I'd like everything to work properly.

Cheers

Is it the wheel on the steering wheel housing? If it is, on mine while fiddling with the ignition switch i pulled apart the white two pin connector. Apart from that i guess a quick check with a multi meter across the variable resistor to make sure its not open circuit. If you dont have a multi meter, just short the two wires and see if the time alters. Failing that, i think its a replace timer jobbie. Of course i could be completely off the mark and you mean something else.

I had the same thing recently. It was the wiper park switch under the wiper motor. It's in a bit of a water trap, and needs to be well protected with Vaseline or something. A replacement costs only about £5 from a TVR dealer.
