Thought I'd share this with you all, worked a treat for me today.

Bought a length of plastic tube long enough to reach from the engine bay to the gearbox filler hole and large enough diameter to fit over the end of the oil container.

I fed the tube down the back of the engine in front of the bulkhead into the gearbox filler hole. Then just ran the oil down the tube, after I’d emptied the first one I cut the bottom of it off and used it as a funnel.



No grovelling round on your back upside down with oil every where.

By chance I thought of the same solution for filling the diff - it works a treat seeing as the oil is a hell of a lot thicker
(2 metres of 12.5mm tubing from B & Q)

Feel free to borrow the idea for whatever floats yer boat. I’m sure some gearoil will ease it’s passage so to speak !
