Also i think its time to buy one of the american and south african ideas to defend your car from this.

50000 volt electric shock that imobilises them for 20 minutes ( I think they are legal but you can get prosecuted for injuring a theif) Thats Justice he/ they try and nick your car and you have a court case on your hands for injury to them.

Bugger. Fecking little scumbags. So so sorry - the pictures made depressing viewing, and if I feel like I do, I can't imagine how you must feel.

But phoning the factory seems like a good plan, and I'm pretty sure Castle had one of the last 100 when I was there last weekend. I pray that your insurers do the right thing, and do it in a hurry.

Kenneth,

I'm sickened by what I've seen and read.
I don't about anyone else but had it been me and I'd caught them at it I suspect I'd be facing a murder charge!

Mole sold theirs. I bought TVR Centre's last (which was the Castle one I think) but HHC had stockpiled a few, they might have one left ?

Hexham TVR dealer has one of the last 100 sitting in his showroom, as of a few weeks back I think he said there was 2 left...

quote:

Remember a post from a few weeks back saying one of the last 100 is still in one of the showrooms, was it Castle TVR?

Get a life boys. It's only a car. Have you ever lost a close member of your family. Maybe then you'll get a sense of reality!

It's awful news Ken and has us spitting bile over such a disgusting act. Hope you'll get over the shock soon but above all I really hope that your move goes well and that it'll be a fresh start and you can put all this behind you.

Best regards

John

true but I think this is a matter of context. Having the car of your dreams burnt to the ground by tossers is in every sense real - and upsetting. This is a car web site after all, what type of response did you expect?

Well Hopefully my Chim is safe most of the time but beware the police don't give a **** the are only interested in taking fines from TVR owners not catching the w*nkers who cause great distress to car owners in this way. For example 3 weeks ago my BMW ( A minter) that I used during the week was stolen from Fleet railway st. The w*nkers just drove up with a trailer and towed it away, some rag head is driving it in Africa or something by now!! get this the police where informed what was going on by a member of the public but failed to even put the car on the PNC as I personally had not reported it stolen. To make matters worse the car pas parked right under a camera and the police still have not looked at the recorded the footage!!!! it makes you wonder if the are not involved in this kind of thing in some way.

be ware if they want it they will take it!

I'm really sorry to hear about this mate , i don't usually get involved in the "gassing" bit of this site but on this occasion i felt compelled . I've been saving hard for my TVR , i'm spitting distance away from that wonderful visit to TVR Barnet ...

My big problem with this whole human nature lark is , why can't people just be happy for you when you own something nice , the majority of us don't just buy our vehicles with pocket change ! we save hard we work hard & probably go without other stuff to afford it BECAUSE WE'RE PATIONATE . Why should you have to worry about parking your motor behind another one in the garage , you should in all reality be able to park it outside safe in the knowledge that the worst to happen will be admiration . Forgive my ranting but this country is turning American , the whole COVERT THY NEIBOUR thing ! .

I only hope that in all honesty it all comes back to the little sh#tbag 3 X 1 , even if the best thing that the w#nker own's is a skateboard let him/her know what it's like to lose it .

Good luck in replacing it , i'm sure these guys will help you to find the perfect car , KEEP THE FAITH !

Totally gutted for you mate

I came back to the M3 the other week to find an end to end key scratch (deep, t cut wont sort it) and I felt bad enough about that, but this is f***ing disgraceful.

I only hope you get paid out quickly so you can get back on the road.
