Hi John,

I received my wheel centers today, they really do look absolutely fantastic. thumbup To add to that they were ridiculously well packaged, it took me over 5 minutes to extract the centers from the various layers of protective packaging! Thanks for the detailed instructions as well, I am sure when I attempt to fit them they will come in very useful. You taking the time to offer these to fellow Grifters is much appreciated. clap

I probably will not get around to fitting these for a while as have a set of 16" Estorils which I intend to use on the front of my car. When funds allow I am going to get the 16s stripped and powder coated (along with the new alloy centres smile)I will fit these to the rear. I will then get the 16s from the car striped and powder coated and fit these to the front. Short term I like the idea of running Z rated tyres on the front and 15"s are getting ever so difficult to find. Long term I really fancy the AP Raching CP6600 300mm brake upgrade.

I will post a picture when they are fitted but I reckon they will look cool

On a separate note although I am temped by some of the cheap offerings on fleabay I have been caught out with low quality items in the past so I am looking at playing it safe and ordering the the wheel centre badges from Clever Trevor:

http://www.clever-trevor.net/TVR/Search_details/G0...

I note that from most of the other TVR parts suppliers these badges are over £10 each!

Matthew
I finally managed get my spare set of Estorils refurbished at Lepsons this week and I had the wheel centres powder coated at the same time. The centres have come out really well and actually fit better than the originals.

Thanks again John........ it has only taken 2 years. getmecoat

That was the objective.. the plastic ones are not flat on the surface (as they are moulded).. .got to say, they do look very good!!
Glad your happy with them!... John

Non-profit making as before smile and £130 for a set of 5 with new screws etc...(Metal price has gone up!!! so £5 more this time frown )

You can paint them or polish them.. its up to you.. I have mine with the turned finish and they match the disc behind...

Let me know if anyone is interested.. I'll be back around the 19th so could send them out straight away...

Many thanks.. YHM smile

.
I will be going again in December and can get some more if there's people wanting them... but as I'm doing these close to cost (a few pounds to cover any currency fluctuation) then I need nailed on orders... especially with it being Christmas and I hope my engine will be out and in bits by then... So can't be tying my cash up.....

So are there any more takers for a December batch??.... thanks John

Hi John, sorry just come up to speed with this thread.
I would be up for a set on the December run if it goes ahead. Let me know when you need payment.
Can you just confirm, can you use the existing securing screws or do they come with new ones.
Cheers.
Nigel.

Having had a set from the first batch I can confirm they come with new countersunk bolts with a spacer and iirc an allen key as well.

Cheers Chilli.. Glad you like them... I've just left mine as is... Obviously they will not tolerate salt much but normal wet weather they have been okay.. It's good quality Ali used so it's quite resistant to oxidisation....

Nigel.. I need a few set's for December... I could do 3 sets but would need at least 1 more firm order... It ties up a bit of dosh for me so I do need to ensure I'm getting them out... or the children won't be getting prezzies at Christmas laugh

David... You are correct.. they come with new screws... but did yours come with an Allen key?... thats where it went wink no Allen key included normaly... but it's a standard size.. just new screws...

Cheers

Thinking about it I didn't get an Allen key, but I do remember the packet was wrapped so comprehensively I needed tools to get in wink
