Estoril Wheel Centres in aluminium anyone?
Discussion
I tried them on all different points of the rotation - I found when lined up so they were linear with the text it looked wrong, sort of asymetrical justification of the text. I found that putting them to the top looked a little off too, on either side.
At the bottom the most natural look was down to the right, I assume this is as the mind treats it like a period.
By the way, the factory had them two to the lower left, two to the upper right - and not on the same angles.
Mine are probably all within one degree at worse.
I am anal too I guess - just a different anal approach.
;-)

Well all done and on the car.
The centres look great - and when I dropped in on TVR North America yesterday they were impressed by the look, as the originals (no surprise) simply looked like plastic.
I decided not to go with polished aluminium - instead going painted. I flipped through about two hundred colour choices from all makes and models. I wanted a slight bit more metal flake, and a slight bit more brightness to the colour. In the end I narrowed it down to two choices. Of all the makes and models around the world, they narrowed down to one Land Rover, and one Jaguar colour (didn't know until after picking!).
Decided the Land Rover colour worked best.
Do you have the code, there seem to be quite a few Land Rover silvers? The centres look great - and when I dropped in on TVR North America yesterday they were impressed by the look, as the originals (no surprise) simply looked like plastic.

Hi Steve... TBH I started doing this as a bit of a favour for the PH members... in as much as when I go to China (about 4 times a year then, but only about 2 times a year now I'm pleased to say! )... I'd bring about 5 sets back with me from our machine shop out there...
At the moment I'm all sold out... and I'm not sure when / if I'll be going again.
What I can do is put you in the 'potential order file' and give you a prompt as things get firmed up to see if you still want them or if you've been sorted?...
They are £135 a set now (non-profit making.. and assuming the RMB does not take a dive against the £) and about £8 P&P..... (when available)
Let me know

Bugger! (as you say in NZ ) ... I said to myself 'I'll give Gavin until June to come back' as I didn't know if you still had the car etc??......
So I offered them out yesterday to another customer in the UK.....
I'll let you know if they come back... sorry for that but these things are done at near cost so I must get my money back ASAP....
Will put you down for the next batch if your still wanting some ... Gordon's should be with him today so take a look at his and let me know what you think...
Cheers... John
