Have you toned down the colour?

Look a lot more pale than the images about or is it just the light/camera playing tricks.

Either way looks stunning can't wait to get pictures like these of mine.

It's the same colour it's just one of those colours that looks totally different in different lights.

Looks fantastic.

Is it the Riviera blue? Looks very similar to the island blue in those last shots that the mini 40 I am restoring is in.

A few more pictures

The shell is wet in these pictures as it had been washed down after the roof had been flattened down ready for lacquer.

That block is so shiny I had to don the sunglasses! lick
You missed out the all important expected performance figures. BHP/0-60 etc.
It's all coming together now and is looking really nice.

The quoted bhp figure is 115+ bhp. Not sure if that's an over ambitious figure or not though.

I would think that's a touch high, something in the 90's is more realistic, what carb will you be running?
Shell looks awesome mate !

Shells painted now & just needs a few days to let the lacquer harden properly before I flatten it then machine polish.

I took the opportunity to photograph the car out in the natural light smile

The mini is now safely tucked up in my garage although there isn't much space since my mates car is in there as well till the doors and other bits and pieces are painted.
