You have done an outstanding job, a proper hardcore, dedicated, thoroughly passionate effort, now be a good chap buy a go-pro camera, change the rear lights, and go video a diary running it/he/she in, rolling road tuned, thrashing her down some B roads culminating with some track action........ Then sell it to me for £1 as you think my hair colour is just brill!

Wheels are fitted today & I have altered the suspension height to suit. Need to give the suspension a chance to settle now and see what it looks like the.

Ha ha, I thought the same. I know 'each to their own' but they are really the only thing I dislike about this little car now.
Come on Russ - do the right thing - fit some mk2 lenses or something
I sure he's only doing it as wind-up and has the "right" set of lenses in the garage somewhere (I hope).Come on Russ - do the right thing - fit some mk2 lenses or something
Anyway it's a cracking build and Russ should be very proud of it, it's certainly inspirational, get some driving vids done.

Fitted them to mine and think they look great although I am contemplating the slightly curvier, crystal ones.

I'm not getting the hate for the clear lenses? Not a fan in general or just on his car?

Sorry mate, I dislike them on yours too. MK1/2 lights are so simple I'm not sure why anyone would use anything else?Fitted them to mine and think they look great although I am contemplating the slightly curvier, crystal ones.
