Bit more progress today.

Refitted the Vin plate & the engine number to the car

Glad to see your keeping some original, bog standard features on the car laugh
That's to pretty to drive. I think you should knock the kitchen wall out and park it in there so you can look at it whilst eating your cornflakes every morning!

Great work. Not long now.

Bit like the new Zonda headlight arrangement though, once you see the face in the dash centre.... smile

It was never my original plan. I did however say that I wasn't building this car to a price. I would build it exactly as I wanted without any compromise

Tonight I made up a bracket to mount the fuel pump inertia cut off switch and the spotlight relay.

also sent off the v5 with the relevant vehicle changes. So when the new document returns it off for an mot smile

This weekend I have finished the boot build & fitted a battery cut off switch.

A couple of minor things still to do including fitting an electric auxiliary cooling fan & then its a waiting game till the new V5 arrives.

Thought of that, so there is a lip on the inside on the bottom edge & some tiny drain holes at the lowest point on the intake. Only time well tell if this will work. But if it doesn't I will just unbolt it and fit a redesigned one on instead.
