This weekend - if you are in the South or South East, this is going to be massive. Great racing (guaranteed) and lots of Mini clubs in attendance.

I've never been to this event ... Is it worth a look? I'm free on Sunday.

As far as I am aware this is the first time Brands Hatch (MSV) have run this event. They have invested heavily in making it a w.e out for all Mini fans and family. It is PACKED with Mini's both Classic and the other kind. See here for further info. http://www.mini-festival.co.uk/

Well that was a wonderful day. Very special thanks to Hunky Harvey Death for our VIP passes and also special thanks to my toy boy naughty Nick Swift, Swiftune for cakes and wine!!!
Wonderful to see Peter Baldwin and Patrick Watts who many years ago drove my beloved 1380 Swiftune Mini around the Brands GP track.
How good it was to see big grids with very close racing, so much better than F1.

i had a pretty good weekend - the car broke a valve spring in the race which was a shame, so my bro did 30 min with no revs or power, we did actually finish, but where not placed. motors out now and ready for a rebuild!

Beautiful car Rich. I had a tyre kick round the Anglo-French Paddock-fab. If you ever need a co-driver

More straightline beans required isnt that always the case!!!! mine makes around 85bhp, the 1293's will make about 100-120 mine is about 30kg lighter though, so it all balances out. i had spent a lot of time corner weighting it and really tweeking the suspension, so it handled like a joy. gutted it broke, i think we could have made a few places up
