Funky

from the article:
It’s the case of this Innocenti Mini Export Cooper 1300, a car that was built under license in Italy some decades ago. However, this is not your stock Mini, mind you. Oh no, the Italians, being Latin and all that, know how to make things… interesting.

Don't know why it's upside down, it's not an Aussie Import.
Gets used daily as dog walking transport come rain or shine.

Note new dent in bumper. Luckily the signpost was just stuck into the soil at a junction and not concreted in.

Taxed, Mot'ed and photoshopped hehe

Restomod - none original, but mainly OEM bits. My weekend wheels - more fun than any modern car.

Cheers, it looks superb. The wheels and tyre combo really set it off nicely.

I miss my Mini.
It was a tired, rusty old Pageant blue 1000 with wide wheels, noisy exhaust and was unreliable. I loved it.

1340cc, Kent 276 cam, stage 4 head, fully lightened and balanced bottom end and flywheel, straight-cut 5 speed gearbox with s/c drop gears, straight through stainless exhaust, spectrum split rim racing wheels with cooper s brake conversion and 4 pot Mini Spares calipers, Spax suspension and hi-lo's with negative camber all round.

I absolutely loved this car and put my heart, soul and £1000's into building it. Why oh why did I sell it! frown

My '69 998 Cooper,2nd car I owned after a '69 Tartan Red SDL. Circa 1986

It then saw some service rallying in the late 90's early noughties

Then in 2009 it surfaced on Ebay, although it had been T-boned by a concrete fence post or similar.

After restoration
