Running in

We are just about to take delivery of a new Cooper and I just wanted a heads up on the running in procedures in advance. Can anyone let me know what they are? Thanks.

If in doubt - FLAT OUT!
Only joking.
No need to 'run-in' modern cars, just take it a bit steady for the first 500 miles or so, don't labour the engine in high gears and keep the revs to a max of about 75% of the red line.
