i got this free off my friend... and i dont know what is it. and i measured the hole on carb side, its 44mm hole.

Before i drill and tap the servo hole, and maybe smoothen the inside of inlet.

Have to say this is nice looking inlet.

44mm hole?

At a guess its off a Metro Turbo as they came with HIF44 carbs I think...

Not sure about it being a Turbo, the one i have is more Square and as good a finish as this one. I think it is from a MG Metro or maybe an aftermaket type from mini spares. Looks ok, looks clean.

Looks like a copy of a Howley or Oselli Torque-master to me. Definately NOT a MiniSpares one as they have "MiniSpares" cast into the web over the water pipe.

I have a MiniSpares one without the name in the casting. Must be an old batch, or old stock of MG Metro ones

As far as I am aware all MiniSpares single SU inlet manifolds have "MiniSpares" cast into them. I had one of the very early ones about 14 years ago (bought from MED when they were still on London Road, Leicester !!) and it had MiniSpares cast into it. If yours doesn't have MiniSpares cast in it, it's not MiniSpares design.

Yes, maybe you are correct. I did buy this unit from Minispares, in 2003, however it may be old stock of the MG item. A quick look at the invoice shows me its Pt#C-AHT771

Who knows??? Who cares?
