Been looking around and have found a dealer TT-RS that appear to have a few nice looking cars however I have concerns about buying from an independent, are my fears irrational or would you recommend going to an authorised Land Rover dealership?

Are there any must have options I should be looking out for?

Looking for a low mile 2012/13 car with the bodykit as this seems to finish it off nicely and suggestions welcome smile

Thanks in advance

Your title is "Buying a Range Rover" and then you mention TT-RS. What exactly is a Range Rover TT-RS?

OK, think I'm with you. What body kit is it you want?

I just like the way the kits lower the front of the car, the Autobiography kit certainly looks pleasing on the eye.

Ah, Range Rover Sport. I see.

Options you should consider? Not buying a Sport with a body kit, instead a Vogue. But if only a Sport lights your candle, go for it with whatever options work for YOU.

It really depends on the dealer, I've had good and bad experiences with main dealers and independants. I would make sure the cars right!! There are lots of garages that will more than happy to look after it for you.

With regards to that car, I like it, personally i think the rrsport looks awsome with the autobioghraphy kit on. You will find that the "purists" will slate anything thats not a vogue or a defender, soi'd take it with a pinch of salt.

Lastly, theres a new shape rrsport due out at the end of the year, so I'd consider depreciation and over night you'll be driving the "old" shape, not a problem as there great cars, thought I'd mention it just incase your not aware.

Oh, just though, check the kit is original and not a fibreglass copy!!!! They are cheap and nasty and wont last five minutes.

Thank you for your reply a constructive one which is nice smile

I picked up the vibes about the RR Sport but I like them, I'm not going to pretend I'm into driving in and out of ditches in my leisure time, I just think they are a really nice big family car!

Anyway....

Put a deposit down on the very car above after a test drive today and collect on Monday yay!!

Hi
How did you find the dealer service in the end? I appreciate it was 18 months ago but would be keen to know what the dealer was like?
They have a car I'm interested in but they are 120 miles from me.

Cheers
Matt
