You must have been quick, I bet it was only up for about a minute as I looked to right the wrong smile

He's very quick.

Bought the D3 some gifts in the shape of some hub bushes and lower arms. Genuine parts again.
Also 5 new Duratrac tyres as the current ones are done.

Getting them fitted to my gloss black HSE wheels next week.

Why is it I'm now tying to buy a series 1 to add as a stable mate for it...
This is going to get expensive! hehe

Agreed. Any more photos like that and he'll be joining you on the "People who make me insanely jealous with their beautifully worn-in classic Land Rovers" list.
Can I add a couple?

I'm taking both.

And his After Eights.

(Though I'll be careful to leave the wrappers in the box as an evil subterfuge)

You Sir, are an evil man!

Did you get a roof rack for your D3 in the end?

Nope, just the bike rack. Wife now has designs on a D4 and an Ewok instead, so waiting to see how that plans out.

D4 is diesel only for the UK...

Welcome to the dark side! hehe

I am also in talks to possibly buy a 1957 86 model Series 1 to add to the fleet.
2 landys.. This could be interesting

Race ya, neighbour keeps waving his 70's defender ragtop at me.... I may just have to be done.

V8 bit is a tad sad, they are around in the UK and very, very high spec, but all LHD frown

Get a D4 HSE luxury then. That's what I want in a few years time.

Also, buy the rag top!

In my experience, I can guarantee that only one will ever be serviceable at any given time
