Very original and very cool looking series. I keep seeing more Land Rover owners also own TVRs. I'm not sure if it's the meccano kit thing or just enjoying vehicles at the opposite ends of the spectrum.

Hi Andy, thanks for comments, been looking for a while for a genuine untouched series 2/3, but you just don't see them in Kent. Same enthusiast gentleman for 15 years, full history, 73,000, I'm very happy. Just need a classic mini to complete the set! Nice Tuscan you have there!

You're probably right there! I've been under the bonnet of my defender more times in two months of ownership than in the three years I owned my navara. It has no sat nav, heated leather seats and no way near 170hp but there is no way I would ever swap it back.
I also got out in my Tuscan yesterday for the first time in six weeks and in comparison it felt smooth, quiet and super refined.

Just added this to the fleet, in place of a Automatic Nissan Navara Aventura, that had leather electric heated seats, built in sat nav and communication system, auto climate control, electric mirrors and windows, multi function steering wheel, cruise control, 6 cd system, numerous airbags and NO SOUL

It's got the electric window option cool

Fantastic how Land rovers can live on through several incarnations!

Here's my newly restored 1986 ninety, just finished in time for the New Year!

Found these on Facebook. My Dad used to use them when he was a TV producer back in the 1960s. 109 Series 2?

That looks brilliant, a lady at work has got a P38 4.6 HSE and it's lovely. A real opulent way to travel even now, with that lovely refined rumble in the background. Seems strange parking my TVR next to it at work knowing they're powered by much the same engine. Have you had any issues with it or has it been pretty trouble free?

How much pain is a set of tracks for that then?

I appear to have accidentally bought the D3 some underbody protection plates.

A guy on the Disco forum has bought a Disco4 with full Prospeed kit on it, rack, wheels and tyres, lift kit, under armour.
Likely over 5 grands worth of kit from the previous owner.

He didn't need any of it so removed it and has been selling bits of it off.

I appear to have got the Prospeed, sump plate, centre plate and rear diff guard. Brand new £1627.
To me. Much less than half that.... biggrinbiggrin
