Hi all,
I've just taken delivery of a new to me 2010 Range rover sport TDV8, so far I'm very impressed, seems to sound fantastic (for a diesel) and gets not too bad MPG too. Handling wise, very impressive, it has the adaptive dynamics suspension and handles better that it should considering the size.. It has another dynamic mode on the terrain response which I've not tried yet. I may get the car remapped at some point in the future, love how it looks though so will keep it that way.
That looks excellent without the tasteless drug dealer-style crap that some insist on plastering over their Sports. Hope you're enjoying it! Great to see the wide variety of green oval goodness on this thread as usual
Here's a few pictures from our evening trip to the beach last week - my V8 90 and a handsome Series 2 belonging to my friend Dave.

We had our Defender with five kids on the beach in Cornwall last week & two dogs - aside from towing a little we never trouble its abilities, but being able to park anywhere has given us some great family picnics!

Just how cool do those Landys look!
The 3rd photo looks like a tilt shift lens (making your defender look like a Toy)

Thanks! Cornwall must be great at this time of year. Your 110 looks ideal! We had our Defender with five kids on the beach in Cornwall last week & two dogs - aside from towing a little we never trouble its abilities, but being able to park anywhere has given us some great family picnics!

s that the Dave, he of the torch on a stick and the answer to "what would Dave do?"?
It is indeed You can see him there in the second photo, out of focus and taping something up. Even more off topic, Dave has got keen on rock balancing... here is what he did on the beach that evening
My three grand eBay special. 1986, so thirty years old and actually a 110 not a Defender. Just happens to have a 200Tdi and a Disco box, and a totally unpatched solid chassis as it's ex RAF and spent until the mid noughties driving round RAF Akrotiri.
This is how she appeared earlier this year on the eBay ad...
And after some new wheels and boots, steering wheel, gear knobs, digital temp gauge, some additional chequer plate, wing top vents and the A bar and spots off my old, scrapped Disco she now looks like this. It's the same paint, just polished, plus I've done a bit of rust killing and a filler/rattle can job on the bulkhead. It will do for now and at some point in the next few years I'll do a full rebuild but I''m very happy for the time being.
