I bought it all from Bilt-Hamber. The aerosols are 750ml and I used two cans of S-50 and four of UC. It does go a long way and this was more than enough UC for two good coats on the chassis, axles and entire underside including inside the rear arches. I still had some left in the first can of UC after I'd sprayed the first coat on the chassis and felt it was well covered after I'd emptied four cans under it.

The last owner put the wheels on, don't mind the wheels it's the tyres they are to small with only a 40 profile it needs a 45 or 50 profile.

Nah! Just get a bit of stretch on the tyres and cut the springs in half and it'll look well wikkid.

I think ours are pretty closely related!

If I ever get it finished! It's currently down to chassis level for major repair and I am desperately searching for a bulkhead!

They are available new, try:

http://www.pegasusparts.co.uk/ourshop_90073/cat_49...

On the above page check for your model & year.

Yes, they are expensive but, they are brand new parts built to the original specification
as the original Land Rover parts.

As much as I would love to be able to spend that much on one part of my land rover, with three kids and a wife there is no chance!

Not if you convert them to coils!

Yes, the ride isnt as good when unladen, but it eliminates one of the premier causes of Bork on a D2
