Spent most of the day fitting these with much ingested mud, skinned knuckles and profanity:

Then I tried removing my towbar to fit the new one..... Well, I tried...

Oops. I want to remove my "plow" towbar too. - The intention is to replace it with a NAS hitch. Let me know how you get on.

....... And stainless side bars in the post!

I'd say its almost impossible not to have a fettle here and there. I also got myself an 80s V8 recently and it too now wears alloys, with rocksliders on order! smile

Hardly a classic going by the previous heritage pics, but very pleased with the new family car, the missus is happy and I get to keep my other toy

They get a lot of heat on here for being too bling but I have to say mine is the best all round car I've ever had. Reliable (so far), economical (relatively), quick enough with the 8 spd, and very, very, very comfortable.

So this is my new toy - a 110 V8 Dormobile - in need of TLC .... but as my neighbour pointed out, me buying something that runs with an MOT is a first !!

She's off for a full big monster service and a new cam with followers plus a cam chain to breathe a little life back into the 86,000 not serviced enough V8 ...

Nice tidy truck.
If the camshaft is that badly worn take a good look at the big end and main bearing shells too.
