Here's mine on the beach at Charmouth. Apparently you aren't allowed on the beach according to the very angry man in a high viz who showed up just after I took this. Shame they didn't put any signs up or any barriers at the edge of the car park!

I bought this on Sunday, for no other reason than I didn't own a V8 smile

A friend was complaining on facebook that his newly purchased Series 1 was too loud.

I was bored, and had Photoshop open.... so I suggested he gets a pair of ear defenders.....

With the move out into the countryside it was time to put a bucket list car in garage so went an got a Defender 90. Like a lot of them it has had a replacement engine so currently running a 300TDi.

Strange thing is the dog loves it, but does not like our BMW 335D Tourer now !!! Suppose that's what happens when you have a working cocker - knows what a proper vehicle is !!

Couple of little niggles which will need to get sorted out, would not be a landie without them

First time I've seen bulkhead removal with the roof in situ! Was it easy?

I hope so, I don't want to have to take the roof off mine!

The actual removal of the bulkhead panel was the easy bit, once everything is stripped off it.
With the big fook off bolts through the outriggers removed, the bulkhead became a bit like a massive loose tooth which got looser the more it was waggled.
There was just enough space beneath the bulkhead, coupled with a bit of flex in the screen and roof, to spring the bulkhead out from under the windscreen.
It's pretty much back together now externally, just the dash and steering column to do. If it ever stops raining.

I've always liked yours - if I was building one it would be a carbon copy smile

What have you done to it?
