A spot of green laning on the way home:

As to the bush cables - why?

There is provision in law to remove any obstructions impeding progress - if this happens to be over hanging branches why not carry a small bow saw or some loppers and give the route a trim. This will make life easier for other users on foot, hooves and wheels.

That's what I do (loppers); I can't bring myself to scratch-up my shiny Discovery (I'm one of those nutters who plays in the mud, then goes OCD with the clay, polish & wax).

Can't ever see myself ever being without a Defender, such great tools.

That's what I often think to myself. I was walking the dog earlier and whilst mine doesn't need it YET, I was thinking about how I'll tackle chassis replacement when the time comes! I guess as long as spares remain available, I can keep it running.

I have vaguely contemplated buying a new 'un before next year (probably missed that boat now anyway) but actually I wouldn't want to part with the one I have!

I generally wait for the depreciation boat to sail, or at least most of it anyway, however with the newer Defenders (anything 2007 onwards as far as I'm concerned..) given there's now what, 12 months ish left of production, I have this niggly feeling that most of the latest Defenders really aren't going to drop much in value, going to make picking a replacement difficult!

It still surprises me, even now how many pennies a 10 year old, 60k+ Defender will set you back! It's crazy, but I love 'em so it doesn't matter biggrin

Driffield, Round 2 of the BCCC in 2003, hit a ridge at a funny angle, the car did a full roll and landed on it's LH rear wheel hence the puncture:

The following weekend we raced in France at the Jean de la Fontaine, we had a few late nights getting the car ready to race again.

Found my old 90 for sale on ebay, owned it a few years ago after doing a lot of work on it, so I bought it back, still had my old number plate, but the wife has said the disco has to go, thats if it sells.

Shame...that Disco looks nice. What's the spec & mileage?

Just taken delivery this week of a new 110 Utility Wagon in Scotia Grey - added the black pack, X-Tech style front grill, KBX vents and General Grabber AT2s

I notice on the bonnet yours is badged Defender, not Land Rover. Do they come out of the Factory now like that or have you changed it?
That is standard now. Black letters with black pack, silver letters with silver pack and grey (I think) as standard
From MY14 Discovery 4's have DISCOVERY on the bonnet. I really didn't like this at first, but I've got used to it now.

Here's a picture over our forthcoming SMC Over Land. It's still work in progress and hopefully should be finished by the end of the week.

Purchased a few Defenders of Andrew, have you kitted out the internal as well?

Not at the moment, will be done in the New Year. What did you get him to change on your interior?

I got 2 90's and 1 110 from them and got all the internals fitted out, as per the below link:

Looks very similar. Will take some more photos when we go and collect. It's basically a Nero Edition.

Tremendous, could you let us know where you got it from?
Chaps, a few people PM'd me about this.

I have just noticed the guy who built it for me has one for sale on EBay. I am sure he can build to order as well.

I have no link with him appart from a happy customer and can vouch for his work.
