There is only one appropriate response to the pictures above, and that is:

clap

One lovely motor. Bloody well done! Encourages me to extract digit and get on with mine!

Thanks Cappo, i've still got lots to do, i have a garage
full of interior panels i need to finish cleaning and
fit.

I've also got to strip the window frames off the rear doors as they need a little attention, rust on these gets just about everywhere !! luckily i think it's restricted to the support piece that sits under the fixed window Land Rover still sell these along with the window seals so should be a fairly simple fix

Definitely - there's some car envy here.

Yes. Very well done.

Would I be correct in guessing you have done this before?
If so, do you sell them on before you start your next project or have you a warehouse full of restored cars?

Thanks Andy

I've done a car project before but that was my Toyota mkiv twin turbo.

This project was purely for myself but it will be sold
on at some point if i get a good enough offer for it

That's for sure. I've got three that I need to start plodding on with.

When i took the rear door cards off i found that
the window frames were a tad rusty and borderline
repairable

I've done a bit of searching and found new frames
at APB trading near Bromsgrove so i collected those
a couple of days ago.

I also managed to get new seals and the small window support
piece from Land Rover so will be fitting these hopefully
tomorrow

After a bit of a delay i've got round to looking at sorting out the window frames.

I decided to freshen up the new old stock replacements that i'd bought and yesterday flatted them down and gave them a fresh coat of satin Black.

If all goes according to plan i'll be fitting them on saturday
