When the windscreen was replaced, did you reuse the original trims or buy new ones? I understand that you can only buy new Discovery ones now? My windscreen will need doing soon.
Very difficult to re use the old trims, they were available OE from Land Rover a while ago but are as you say Disco 1 trims, i think theres only a slight difference on the pillar trims at the top but still fit, i think rimmerbros or similar list them as a pattern part and much cheaper.

Theres two lower trims one for heated and not heated

Had a major tidy up in the garage and found lots of parts i'd stashed away in boxes
for safe keeping.

The finger/door pulls with the screw covers and screws
The upper tailgate seal which i've since bought a NOS one
One of the seat plinth hatch doors
The 4 new silver sparkle center caps i bought years ago
Two Clarion OE head units
The front grill Green oval badge
Top tailgate c/l actuator cover

I've since bought several clear plastic storage boxes and got myself organised smile

Apologies for such a late reply, i don't get notifications for some reason.

I've still got it and bought a few more parts for spares to use when if
ever it goes for paintwork.

Also bought a new set of wheels which could be getting fitted tomorrow
i think they will upset the purists but i like them smile i still have the TWR's and OE 3 spokes so easy enough to put straight back to original

Puritans will always find something they don’t like about you so the best way to rationalise things is that you are just being kind and making their job easier. biggrin

Lol yes

It's actually gone down well on the classic face book pages so all's good.

I love the look and it drives really well

Bought the wheels from LRparts and got great service, one wheel had a mark on the lip and i was offered a discount or replace the wheel, i had it replaced and they'd collected it the same day and sent out the replacement in 3 days

I bought Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV 255 55 18 from Camskill, came out top in the latest SUV tyre test on www.tyrereviews.co.uk

I decided the rear wheels needed to come out to the wheel arch's to
match the fronts so bought a pair of hub centric spacers to see what
they would do.

Had to change the drive flange bolts to caps as they catch the counter
bore on the wheels due to the wheel now being rotated 36 degrees when
its fitted.

Very happy with outcome, the spacers fitted perfectly on the spigot hub and
in the wheel counter bore.
