Hi all,

Placed an order for a Disco 4 Commercial at the weekend. Good spec and added a few extras to make it a nice place to be so can't wait to get my hands on it.

Shame it is on a 6 month lead time!!

This is going to be a long 6 months!

The fun bit for the dealer is once the car's built it vanishes into the SVO black hole and you can't advise your customer when it's due to arrive.

Ace things though, enjoy!

Rang the dealer today to ask if I could spec 50/50 tyres and was told that all Discos come out the factory with road tyres only! Great! So LR want me to spend another grand on new tyres as soon as I get it!

Think I will be looking on eBay for a part worn set, which, to be fair the dealer suggested!

If it's on standard wheels (19") it will be on 255/55x19, at present most are coming out of the factory with Goodyear Wrangler HP AW's.

A few choices available depending on what you requirements are.

Goodyear Duratrac is a good choice if you can find them.

Love rubber. Hahaha

I'm running my Disco 3 (255/55/19) on Toyo Open Country HT for road use & switch to General Grabber AT2 when it gets wet & sticky (late autumn to spring)- I do a fair bit of field & quarry work. I can recommend both, the Toyos are wearing very well approx 55,000 miles and still another 10,000 in them.

It arrived at the dealer yesterday afternoon.

Picking it up at 11 tomorrow!

Can't see the front parking sensors, could be a good opening discussion point!!

You could always pop on a set of General AT's or Goodyear DuraTrac's.

Sorry, been too busy driving it and not posting pics!

Here it is when it was 2 weeks old after 3 hours of washing it ready for a friends wedding.

Side steps going on it on Tuesday next week.
