iPhone 6 google maps / Evoque compatibility

Hi

I have had my new Evoque (no satnav option) just a few weeks & have just changed my phone to an iPhone 6.
When I pair the phone to the car via Bluetooth, I find that when using Apple or Google maps that the voice commands from the phone speakers are disabled even though visually the app works fine. I have obviously checked on the phone options that mute has not been selected & that the volume has been turned up. The app works fine when in any other car.

Has anyone else found this or can offer any advice

I'll see if I can try that later. What is the behaviour when you have got it plugged in? Certainly on my iPhone 5 the phone blended the audio between music and navigation.

Does the music mute when the navigation voice comes through when you are connected via bluetooth?
