buying a Range Rover L405 - bloody dealers

I know this is an old topic but I've walked out of two dealerships after 15 minutes looking around and not even a "good afternoon sir" so I've now changed tact. I call and one of the first things I tell the sales persons is that it's a toss up between their range and a Porsche or whatever , it seems to work.
