Morning everyone,

So I need some help please.

I've got the heater in the car set to come on at 07:30. It comes on and works beautifully.

The only problem is that the alarm comes on too.

Please tell me, how do I stop this? Are the internal alarm sensors heat sensitive? There is nothing in the car which would blow around. Maybe it's coins in the centre cup holder, BMW 3 Series have this fault.

Thanks in advance,

(A sleepy) Richard

I suspect your alarm has a voltage drop sensor and the heater is setting that off. How you get round it I don't know but might be a place to start.

New battery if that's the case.,normally solves all ills on these cars.....

Thanks chaps.

I'll have to take it in - it wasn't much fun getting into a VERY cold car at 4:30 this morning...
