where are LR products made?
Discussion
I just bought genuine LR 'bright pedals' for my L405 Range Rover
came in a genuine LR box saying 'made in Sweden'
however, upon opening the box and examining the pedals they are both marked 'made in Turkey'
so they were made in Turkey and shipped to Sweden to be packaged and then sent to the UK to be sold?

From any supplier they chose to use at the time. Car manufacturers don't make their own parts, its all ordered in from other specialist manufacturers to the spec agreed with the car manufacturer.
Your experience is entirely normal. That said, if the part comes from a franchised dealer in their logo'd packaging then it should fit, be fit for purpose and be the latest evolution of that part plus if your car is serviced by an indy you won't invalidate your warranty.
The parts makers will also sell the same parts in their own packaging, as an example a clutch from a Peugeot dealer in a Peugeot logo'd box is the same as one from Valeo in a Valeo logo'd box & the parts in both boxes will have Valeo painted on them. Valeo are the OE supplier to Peugeot.
Be careful with cheapie parts, these are often made - or are reconditioned items - badly & won't necessarily fit properly!

Assumgin you're not trolling / attempting to start an argument its just the usual OEM / supplier approach.

that comment was totally uncalled for!http://smallbusiness.chron.com/difference-between-...
but I can imagine it quite easy to have an argument with you?
I was just asking a reasonable question
from Turkey to Sweden to UK cannot be cheap - hence circa £150 for two PEDAL COVERS
