Got mine on order with expected delivery end of March.
Had a test drive in one mid December, out for 1 hour, and was impressed all round.
Can't wait until the end of March.
Congrats. What spec and colour did you go for? I still haven't seen one yet, called in a to a dealers this afternoon and they didn't even have one.. Had a test drive in one mid December, out for 1 hour, and was impressed all round.

I went to the local dealer last weekend and went for a test drive and was really impressed. Nice interior and loads of room.
Spec'ing one up though and couldn't get it under £50K so I will wait. Also have been advised to wait for the new engine. Its coming out with a 2WD option followed by the 4WD, I reckon that will be better in 3 yrs time when trying to shift it.
Overall all though would be a great replacement for the Freelander

Funny that, as I think that is exactly what Land Rover planned Good looking car and I can see it selling well despite the price and better engines coming next year. That 2.2 is meant to be good, but its getting on a bit now compared to the tech being offered by the competition.

2.0d 2wd 150ps is the only one confirmed so far. Designed for the company car market with low emissions.
Of course they are not going to tell us that the current 190PS unit is going but it surely will at some stage. I wonder if the Evoque will get this engine replaced first with it's facelift this year and then the Disco Sport will follow?EC2 said:

That's my thoughts as well. Needs to be +200BHP & 100ftlb more torque!
I've just read that there's another 4WD system coming too:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/first-drives/...
"The one that will appear first uses a conventional Haldex arrangement that sends power rearward as needed. The second system, which will be available later in the Sport's lifecycle, uses both rear axle torque-vectoring and a set of clutches that, like those on the Jeep Renegade, can completely disengage the driveshaft for more efficient cruising. Though it was fun to watch the display show the torque being transferred from one side to the other, we honestly couldn't tell the difference on ice and snow. Both Discos go neutral at full throttle in the snow; both do donuts on ice just fine."
This is the first I've heard of it.
