I got mine in 8 weeks - build slot was allocated for a VIP event that didn't get a taker (or something like that). Each dealer will have an allocation so you can't really say what the overall lead time is - the build spec can be changed up to about 6 weeks before it comes down the production line.
If you lot could help with the final product testing of this car, it would be great.
In several years, the value's will have lowered to levels that will let scum like me in on the fun and enjoy the cars.
Also, if someone could spec a SDV8 Autobiography in either black or that lovely dark blue shade, with black interior, and the best sound system, i'll have it from you in 6 years time.

My 11 plate Vogue is still in the dealership workshop, where it has now been for 7 weeks. I am driving a Freelander 2 courtesy car that smells like a shaggy dog died in it.
I think this is the final nail in the Land Rover coffin. I've bought their cars for years but the quality is appalling and the customer service slightly worse. My RR is due for renewal in 2 months and I cannot see me buying another one. Which makes me a bit sad to be honest.
Sorry to hear of your woes. I've a MY11 TDV8 and only had two minor issues which were sorted sharpish under warranty. It's on ~90k miles now.I think this is the final nail in the Land Rover coffin. Was thinking of chopping it for a L405 - but because it's a "good 'un", I am toying with the idea of keeping and getting a new RRS (TDV8) as well

I'm now four weeks since selling mine and I have to say it's not been missed.
I brought our old Discovery 3 back from the farm and have been using that (and the F-Type more).
I used to stress a fair bit about where to park the L405 but no such worries with an old D3.. quite calming actually.
That said I think i'll be looking at the Discovery 5 when it's launched..... and then 3 months later complaining about it's breakdowns and faults on here
