Hi,

I am looking to purchase a Range Rover Sport HSE registered 2006. It is the 2.7 diesel engine and has around 120k miles.

This would be my first Range Rover and have been doing some research myself although looking to see if there is any info anyone can provide or any tips / experience to look out for when purchasing a RRS of this age / milage? And what to be prepared for?

Thanks in advance

1) Welcome to this site

2) I'll have a pint of whatever youre drinking

3) Dont bother without a local friendly indie

4) My own RR S is an 09 model and has cost me nothing other than pads, tyres and service consumables

5) I will probably regret posting 4)

6) Head over to www.rrsport.co.uk for more info

7) Good luck

Ideal. They seem to get a lot of negative reviews due to a number of things going wrong with regards to the electronics and air suspension / compressor but then again on the flip side of that folk are also stating it is worth it due to the joy the RRS brings along with the whole driving experience.

The specific RRS I'm looking at has been serviced including gearbox, timing belt changed, front suspension fully polubushed, rear suspension fully polubushed including roll bars, I/hand E.G.R valve replaced. So it appears to have been looked after pretty well on paper which gives peace of mind if I was to go ahead.

i'll expect the usual 'attacks' but before you buy a Sport have a drive in a FFRR

its just so much more.................!

if you drive a FFRR and think not for me - fair enough but otherwise you will always have that niggle in the back of your mind - did I make the right choice?
