As per title really. I'm new to the whole Land Rover thing, and its not even mine
The place where I work has one and because I can't drive lorries at the mo I spend alot of time out in the Land Rover and I've never been in a motor that draws so much attention and gets so many comments.
At first i wasn't keen, bloody cramped cabin, way to narrow and most artics i've driven have a much better turning circle
But I have to admit the more I drive it the more I love it but i can't explain why? I do really see now why they have such a big loyal following, its a proper workhorse and pretty much pulls most things we stick on the trailer and pull behind it, cherry picker type machines and the like.
Its a Defender btw, on a 13 plate, lwb, black, with bloody big chunky black wheels, its even got black tinted windows. Listening to the boss at work, this is exactly how it came from the dealers, (ex-demo) think its some sort of limited edition. I really do like it, as do many members of the public that come for a nose round when i'm delivering kit in and around London, they do seem a popular beast.
