I'm thinking of getting this:
I would use it about 2-3 times a week to do a 60 mile round trip (some traffic).
Anyone got one of these and any advice on running one?

Looks good & as its Australia I'd guess you don't have the corrosion issues we do here.
With your fleet you also know what the V8 is like for fuel consumption.
Subject to the usual inspection & checks that everything works it looks like a no-brainer.

If it's a sound one then just get it.
The downside of the 4 speed is that it isn't ideal for modern motorway speeds though.
But you can give these pre '84 cars a massive boost in driving style by fitting a modest set of road orientated shocks and even ARBs if you need to.
Minor parts, especially trim are a bigger to get but the upside is that these are now very much appreciating cars so money spend, if originality is retained, will be returned.
