It pays to shop around even for a service

1st service due on our Evoque (2.2 diesel)so a quick call to 3 local dealers and got the following prices
A) £412
B) £351
C) £317
So called back B as it is nearer to work and asked if they could match C's price and they did.
When I dropped the car off, I asked how much to fix the broken wing mirror, gave me a quote of about £120 (it's the all singing and dancing mirror). I asked could they do it for £100 dead, no they couldn't but could knock off 10%.
So my advise is shop around, and if you don't ask you don't get!
PS was very happy with service, they even sent me a video!
