Hi, I've recently bought a new model Vogue SE. (MY2014)

I always normally find the first month uncomfortable in a new car getting used to the seat, and this thing is no exception, it's killing me. I have really bad neck pain and it doesn't seem there is anything I can do with the seat position to sort this.

I love the car, it's the best car you can buy in my opinion! But these seats are so painful and no way near as comfy as a merc s class for example.

Has anyone suffered with this too? If so did you manage to sort it? Maybe I just need to go to a neck doctor!?

Ah, I had the same model but sorry to say no issue.

It's your bodyframe I suspect.

I have an Autobiography so I think we have the same seats. I find them really comfortable and have done some serious distances with the car without any problem and I have a very sensible back. There are numerous settings on the seat and my guess is that you still haven't found the right position so play with the buttons and once it feels right, store it in the memory.

Well I have actually raised the left side arm rest (as in the one that is built into the seat) to be out of the way, so now I use the centre console arm rest as the arm rest. I am finding it a lot more comfortable now. Though I think it's a shame not to use the in built arm rest as I love the arm chair feel, a real RR signature feature. But oh well, if that's what it takes to be comfy then fine.

As a side note on this, myself & my partner both found the inbuilt seat arm rest a bit less comfortable than on our previous RR Sport, it seemed shorter and less padded. Did you notice anything like this?

No not really, and I've experienced all generations from Classic to P38 to L322 to Sport (but don't tell anyone!) and now L405, I think this latest one is the most comfortable overall. Middle armrests have never been really padded but I think very convenient and certainly an integral part of a Range Rover (save from the early classics).
You probably need to adjust the armrest as it is probably set too high.

OK, well thanks for your reply.

Think I am getting used to it now, enjoying the supreme luxury and comfort of this amazing car. Just a quick neck massage this week and all should be well!
