Spotted this outside my house last week........




dont know anything about land rovers but it looked pretty unwieldy and I couldn't understand what the 6 wheels would bring to the party tbh.

Is it a "home build" or factory special?

That's hideous.
Definitely a home build I'd say. Looks too long to be based on something like a Perenti.

Could be a 130 or 150 but it looks like it's bowing in the middle, land rovers might be bad but not that bad.

I've seen a few 6-wheel landies, on the whole they look well done (the Foley ones anyway).

Are they 6x6? Or 6x4?

That certainly doesn't look like an official product.

One of the local farmers near me has 6x6 with the 3.9 V8. Think it was a special vehicle from Land Rover. I had a poke round it and eventually asked about fuel consumption. He said he didn't like to think about it biggrin

6x4 normally, the rear most axle isn't driven.
