Range Rover with 140k miles?
Discussion
I looked at below earlier.
http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/land-rover/range-r...
It has 140K miles on it.
Body is in good condition overall.
Wheels are quite scuffed but tyres are new.
Interior is not bad. Drivers seat is fairly well worn.
Are these good for alot more miles? Am I looking for trouble with this? What else do I need to look out for?

The GM automatic gearboxes are prone to giving in on the Td6 Range Rovers, not a cheap fix. To be fair this can happen at any time, though higher mileages, lack of gearbox maintenance (they're sealed for life units, so are rarely touched), off-road use and towing can lead to a faster demise. I notice that this one doesn't have a towbar, and the Overfinch wheels/enhancements says to me that it hasn't been crossing the Darien Gap each weekend.
Early Td6s also had a recall to replace their front differentials, so make sure this has been carried out.
Modern high mileage diesels all have potential to throw up some big bills, think injectors, turbos etc, though to my knowledge this engine doesn't have any particular engine-specific faults.
Other things to check for are that all the electrics work (being a Vogue, they were well equipped from the factory). Check mainly for things like air suspension operation, no missing warning lights from the dashboard, working HiFi, no condensation in the lights and so on.
322s with proper maintenance can last for 200k+. It will not be a cheap car to maintain, but so long as you're ready for some of the potential bills, then a good one should last you some time.
Have you considered a petrol version at all? The BMW V8 is generally a very strong engine, and also comes with a ZF automatic gearbox which isn't prone to failing. If your annual mileage is low, the fuel cost won't be much higher Your money will get you into a later, lower mileage car.
I'm sure I've missed a ton of stuff, but please let us know how you get on

Bought a v8 petrol over a year or so and totally loving it. Do less than 5k miles pa so not so worried about the fuel. Recent pump prices have helped though.
About to get the radiator replaced as its started to leak ever so slightly and don't want to get caught out. annual service at an independent cost me £180 and haven't really spent much more on it apart from the drive belts.
Hell of a car for the money and a very nice place to spend a few hours driving.
V8 extra power over the diesel is a plus.

Hi Soul
I would echo Ollie's comments. But I will put emphasis on injectors and their accompanying wiring looms, these go and its very tricky to figure out which one. I think I paid £180+ a go on my last one... and did all 6 at about 130k. So check on the history for those. Secondly, check history on the air compressor, these go reasonably frequently. Check the sat nav, stereo etc, some do have a tendancy to let water into the rear nearside (left side of boot) where all the electrics for the stereo live.
This particular one looks like it has been 'joy boy'ed' a bit... Non standard wheels, cheap side steps, aftermarket chrome and grill... I woudl return it to a stock look (classier). Bit of poverty spec on the interior, no wood trim... just check it is really a vogue and not a rebadged HSE. It should have heated steering wheel and heated rear seats..
Having said all that, it is an L322 and its a glorious thing to own...
If I was buying at that age and mileage, as others have suggested I would be tempted to look at the V8 petrol with standard wheels... (better off road).
Best of luck with it
Cheers
